Who we are

We are a non-profit organization that provides academic sponsorship for disadvantaged children, youths, and young adults in developing nations with a focus on the African continent.

We use technology and education to provide opportunities and transform lives for young people in rural Nigeria.

Over 50% of young Nigerians face unemployment or underemployment, while the economy suffers from a lack of skilled workers, particularly in digital domains. We bridge this gap by equipping young people with the digital skills they need to thrive in the 21st century, skills beyond traditional classrooms.

We understand the challenges young people face, offering scholarship opportunities and healthcare support through partnerships with local hospitals, clinics, and schools. This holistic approach fosters thriving communities where people can learn.

Since launching our pilot program in 2017 in Kwara State, we’ve expanded to neighboring communities, impacting over 4,000 lives in rural Nigeria. Join us in building a future where young Nigerians can learn and thrive.

Our Reach

Causes We Care About

In just four years, your support has enabled us to concretely impact over 4,000 people in rural Nigeria.

Coding Camps

Digital skills are a key competency for young people entering the 21st-Century workforce. And, computer science workshops help youth learn other critical skills like problem-solving and research that they need to compete for jobs, but which they are often not taught in traditional classrooms. Since 2008, we have taught more than 150 high school students computer programming and computer science skills that can open up new opportunities in their futures

Scholars Program

Through our coding camps, we meet many talented young people whose futures are at risk because they are not able to afford secondary school. We identify promising young students to enrol in our Scholars Program, where we currently provide 130 high school students with tuition scholarships, career counseling, test prep assistance, and college admission test fees. Through our Scholars Program, we break down some of the unjust financial barriers that limit youth in our communities from realizing their full potential.

Medical Outreach

Children struggle to learn when basic healthcare needs are not met for themselves or their families, and we serve young people from communities where healthcare systems are under-resourced and/or inaccessible. To support youth to learn and thrive, we have provided health screening and basic primary healthcare services to more than 4000 people in the communities we work in. In 2019, we also adopted ECWA Hospital, Omu-Aran, and donated $20,000 worth of equipment to the hospital.
